Earl Carter (Republican Party) (also known as Buddy) is a member of the U.S. House, representing Georgias 1st Congressional District. He assumed office on January 3, 2015. His current term ends on January 3, 2027. Carter is not running for re-election to U.S. House Georgia District 1 in 2026.

Carter (Republican Party) ran for election to the U.S. Senate to represent Georgia. He lost in the Republican primary on May 19, 2026.
