William Louis Day (1876-1936) was a federal judge on the United States District Court for the Northern District of Ohio. He was nominated by President William Howard Taft on April 6, 1911 to fill a seat vacated by Robert Walker Tayler. He was confirmed by the Senate on May 9, 1911, and received commission that same day. He resigned on May 1, 1914.1 Day was succeeded in this position by John Hessin Clarke.
