Georgia Republicans choose their Senate nominee today after no candidate cleared 50% in the May 19 primary. Rep. Mike Collins, endorsed by President Trump, faces former Tennessee football coach Derek Dooley. The winner challenges Democratic incumbent Jon Ossoff on November 3.

Alabama Senate runoff: Barry Moore vs. Jared Hudson:

Trump-backed Rep. Barry Moore battles former Navy SEAL Jared Hudson for the GOP nomination to succeed Sen. Tommy Tuberville, who is running for governor. Moore led the May primary with 40.4%; a late Alabama Poll showed Hudson ahead 48.7% to 39.2% among likely runoff voters.

Oklahoma Senate primary:

Five Republicans compete in Oklahoma's primary today for the seat formerly held by Markwayne Mullin, who resigned after Trump nominated him as Secretary of Homeland Security. A runoff is set for August 25 if no candidate clears 50%.

Trump's streak on the ballot:

The president enters today 5-for-5 in 2026's biggest GOP intraparty fights, including Ken Paxton over Sen. John Cornyn in Texas and the defeat of Sen. Bill Cassidy in Louisiana. Trump has issued more than 200 endorsements across Senate, House, and state races this cycle.

House GOP posts another record:

The NRCC reported its third straight record-breaking fundraising month, extending the committee's strongest off-year haul since 2021 as Republicans defend their majorities.
