Subject Line Patterns Report: Know What Types of Subject Lines Land in the Inbox
inbox.gop now includes the Subject Line Patterns Report, available to Professional and Enterprise subscribers. It analyzes structural patterns across political email subject lines and correlates them with inbox rates — giving your campaign a data-driven look at what types of subject lines are actually landing in the inbox.
What patterns it tracks
The report breaks down patterns like short subjects (under 30 characters), all-caps words, question format, urgency language, dollar amounts, personalization tokens, and emoji usage. For each pattern, you can see how frequently it appears in your filtered dataset and what inbox rate it correlates with — so you know at a glance which constructions are helping or hurting deliverability.
Filtering and party breakdown
Filters are available for party (Republican / Democrat), entity, and date range. The entity dropdown uses the same followed-first ordering as the rest of Competitive Insights. A party split column shows the Republican vs. Democrat breakdown for each pattern across the full dataset, so you can benchmark your approach against the competition.
